Your Home is Full of Money and You Don’t Even Realize it

First item I sold on eBay, a 10 year old camera. Taken with a Panasonic DMC-TZ5.
Take a look around your room. What do you see? Clothes, books, game systems, stuffed toys, gifts you’ll never use.
If you're looking to make a few bucks here and there I’ve got a solution for you: Why not join eBay? It’s free to join and list items for sale, and the only things you’ll need are a PayPal account (which is also free), an email, and a camera of some sort. If you do sell an item, eBay will take only a 10% cut, which is fair considering that other sites like Amazon charges $39.99 per month with additional selling fees.
I currently sell stuff I no longer need on eBay and it’s quite hassle-free. If you’re a lazy person but want some spending money, this is a perfect option for you because it rewards your laziness. You don’t need to do much to list an item; just fill out info about your item, take a few photos with your phone, and choose your buying method, which could be auction-style or buy-it-now. After listing your item all you need to do is wait for it to sell, but if it doesn’t sell you can relist it with a click of a button. If it does sell, you wait for the buyer to send money through PayPal then ship it.
Some of the things I’ve sold in the past are textbooks, used clothes, a camera, Star Wars buttons, Halloween costumes, Vera Bradley purses, and other random items I found around my home. The things that I didn’t think wouldn’t sell, like a 2007 Mickey Mouse watch, got a few bids. People on eBay will buy ANYTHING, there’s even a page dedicated to weird stuff. So don’t have doubts whether or not an item will sell just try your luck and list it anyway, you’ve got nothing to lose if it doesn’t sell.
Another great thing about eBay is that you can find brand names for cheap, and not only that but household items like Swiffer dusters are usually cheaper than Amazon. If you’re worried about the trustworthiness of the sellers, worry not; you can leave a really low rating and eBay will refund your purchase including shipping. If a seller gets enough low ratings their store will be shut down forever. So check it out if this is something that interests you. Good luck! ☺️
