Have you ever dug something out from the dark corners of your closet that you’ve forgotten about? Yea that happened to me except instead of a closet it was my computer. I was digging through my files and was organizing them when I stumbled upon this old animation video I made during my sophomore year in high school, and it cracked me up with it’s ridiculous ness. So here’s the backstory behind it. I took a graphic arts class and one of the assignments was create a hand-drawn animation flip book then convert it into an actual video, and the great thing about the assignment was that I could choose the story. I can’t quite recall why I chose a kid getting eaten by a dinosaur but I do remember having a morbid sense of humor back then. The flip book itself contains 40 index cards and the drawings were done with pen and colored pencil. This was one of my favorite assignments and took me about two weeks to complete it. So I hope you enjoy my first animation, and tell me what you like about it!
